As a Teacher
Devan Jacobsen believes that every child has the innate potential to become a great musician. He believes that a “one size fits all” approach does not work for everyone; he wants to learn his student’s learning style so that the student can unlock their musical potential. Along with the learning styles, he want’s his student’s to develop independent learning skills because students are their own teacher at home. Many of his lessons are built around developing strategies on how to practice. He also makes a personalized practice schedules for his students to follow.
